The Sayreville Library’s WiFi hotspots and Chromebooks were purchased with funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the NJ State Library, award #LS-250226 OLS-21.


The Sayreville Library now offers 5 circulating, 20GB WiFi hotspots.
- Who may borrow the WiFi hotspots? Sayreville adult cardholders in good standing. One hotspot per family, please.
- For how long may I borrow the hotspots? The hotspots will circulate for 14 days, with 1 renewal (as long as there are no holds on the item).
- How much does it cost? Borrowing the hotspots is free, however there are fines if the item is overdue, damaged, or lost. Overdue hotspots are $1.00/day. Lost/damaged hotspots are $50, lost/damaged cases and chargers are $10 each.
- How do I use the hotspots? A librarian can walk you through how to turn on the hotspot and connect devices.
- These TMobile hotspots will not connect once the 20GB limit has been met.
- This WiFi connection will not work internationally.
The Sayreville Library also offers 10 circulating Chromebooks.
- Who may borrow the Chromebooks? Sayreville adult cardholders in good standing. One Chromebook per family, please.
- For how long may I borrow the Chromebooks? The Chromebooks will circulate for 14 days, with 1 renewal (as long as there are no holds on the item).
- How much does it cost? Borrowing the Chromebooks is free, however there are fines if the item is overdue, damaged, or lost. Overdue Chromebooks are $1.00/day. Lost/damaged Chromebooks are $320, lost/damaged cases are $28, and chargers are $10 each.
- How do I use the Chromebooks? A librarian can walk you through how to turn on the Chromebook and connect to wifi.
- The Chromebooks do not come with their own WiFi. Borrowers may want to borrow one of the hotspots above to use with the Chromebook.
- Chromebooks will be reset between loans, but we strongly recommend deleting all personal information before returning.
