The Sayreville Public Library subscribes to many newspapers and magazines, including the Home News Tribune, the Asbury Park Press, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and more. For a complete list of periodicals available in paper format in the library, click here. The following databases are available from computer stations in the library. For those that allow access from home, you will need your Sayreville library card.
Academic Search Premier
Academic Search Premier is a popular resource found in many academic settings worldwide, this resource was designed for the premier researcher, rich with the most valuable, comprehensive multidisciplinary content available. As a leading scholarly database, it provides access to acclaimed full-text journals, magazines, and other valuable resources. Academic Search Premier encompasses the expansive academic disciplines now being offered in colleges and universities. This resource provides an elaborate array of titles to cornerstone academia. Users accessing this resource will be provided with comprehensive content right at their fingertips, including PDF backfiles to 1975 or further for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references for more than 1,050 titles.

The Sayreville Public Library now subscribes to a comprehensive online automotive repair database called Auto Repair Source . Auto Repair Source includes the most accurate, authoritative and up-to-date service and repair information for thousands of domestic and imported vehicles. All content comes from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and includes step-by-step repair information, diagrams, maintenance schedules, parts and labor estimates, service bulletins and recalls. Access Instructions: You will be asked to enter your Sayreville Library card number. Start your search by choosing the year of your vehicle.
Business Source Elite
Business Source Elite provides full-text coverage for nearly 1,100 business periodicals, ranging from general magazines to trade publications and top management journals. This resource contains expanded PDF backfiles for more than 150 titles (back to 1985 or the first issue published for that journal). Regional Business News is a supplemental database for customers of Business Source Elite. With daily updates, Regional Business News provides comprehensive full text for regional U.S. and Canadian business publications (including titles from Crain Communications). Regional Business News has full text for nearly 100 sources.

Our MVC practice tests feature questions just like those on the official written knowledge test or the test administered by the motorcycle training course. We offer practice tests on driving techniques, road signs, laws and regulations, and all commercial endorsements. Current New Jersey handbooks are available in English and Spanish. We even provide a question marathon in which you can test your knowledge to the highest degree and become fully prepared to ace the knowledge test.

The New Brunswick Public Library offers the digitized versions of the New Brunswick Daily Times from 1871-1916 and the Daily Home News 1887, 1889, 1903-1908. Funding in part was provided by the Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and the New Jersey Historical Commission/Department of State. The project was also made possible with the permission of The Home News Tribune.

Sanborn Map Company
The Sanborn Map Company is the oldest mapping company in the United States. Founded in 1866, the company created detailed building maps of cities and towns all across the country, primarily for use by insurance companies. These maps also have been used extensively by local government agencies for over a century in conducting their daily operations efficiently. Approximately 12,000 American cities and towns are chronicled in the company’s collection of over one million maps. As a result of its history, the name “Sanborn” has become synonymous with this kind of map. Genealogists, local history buffs, city planners, architects, and countless others have been drawn to the quality of detail found in them. These maps have been digitized by Princeton University Library.
